Connect: Improv for ASD

  • Rodolfo Gonzales Library 1498 Irving Street Denver, CO, 80204 United States (map)

This free class will be an opportunity for teens to CONNECT with each other while listening, communicating, and expressing emotion. We will be playing improv games with a focus on FUN.

Class will be taught by Erin Rafaels, MSW, LSW. She has received training from Lacy Alana, LCSW and Dr. Jim Ansaldo who lead improv programs for teens on the spectrum in Texas and Indiana.

Awesome volunteers from the autism and improv communities will also be present to support the teens during class.

Because new experiences can be overwhelming for some, we ask that a parent or caregiver plan to stay at or near the library (and be available by cell phone).
